Role Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled
Java Architect
with 8+ years of experience in designing and building scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, AWS, and DevOps practices. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring technical leadership, solution design, mentoring, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Lead application modernization initiatives and API-first architecture.
- Build and optimize event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
- Drive CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Establish observability using Grafana, Prometheus, logging, monitoring, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Ensure application security through OAuth2, JWT, SAML,



API security, and webhook authentication.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Mentor developers, conduct architecture and code reviews, and create technical documentation.

Required Skills
- 8+ years of Java development experience.
- 3+ years as a Technical Lead or Architect.
- Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
- Microservices Architecture.
- REST APIs.
- Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, DLQ, Consumer Groups).
- SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB/Cassandra).
- Redis.
- AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, API Gateway).
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
- OAuth2, JWT, SAML.
- Grafana, Prometheus.
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- API-first Architecture.

Preferred Skills
- React or TypeScript.
- Twilio or Messaging Platform integrations.
