Skills and Requirements
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge in 3D CAD and drawings, able to review data in software like NX or Catia
- Complete product life cycle experience of launching interior products like IP,DP,FC, Pillar Trims etc
- Knowledge of Processes– Screwing, Heat Staking, US welding, Vibration welding, SPM, Fixtures, Cut Sew, Wrap, Painting, Chrome plating, hydrographic, Pad Printing, INS etc.
- Knowledge of material properties and selection criteria
- Vehicle craftsmanship knowledge
- Knowledge of GD & T, Stack up analysis
- Ability to interpret CAE and MF reports
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies like A3, G8D, CAPA etc
- Excellent planning skills. Should be able to make a tactical plan.
- Knowledge of PLM and Data Management through PLM systems

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree on Mechanical/ Industrial/automobile engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Engineering/Product Development
- 7+ years of experience of working on IP/ DP/ FC Product Development programs
- Experience of IP/ DP/ FC Program launch
