Role Summary

Industrial Trainee will be part of second line of defense, supporting the Compliance Testing team in various regulatory reviews.

The role provides exposure to banking regulations, banking products, compliance risk management frameworks, regulatory obligations and governance processes

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing compliance testing reviews across various banking products, processes, and functions w.r.t. key regulations issued by RBI, FEMA and IFSCA
- Map regulatory obligations to business products / processes and identify control gaps
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of compliance controls
- Review samples, analyze transactions, and identify compliance gaps or control weaknesses
- Document testing procedures, observations, and evidence in accordance with defined methodologies




- Prepare draft reports highlighting findings, root causes, and recommendations
- Support follow-up of compliance issues with business units
- Maintain compliance testing databases, trackers to assist in preparing presentations for senior management and Board committees

Preferred candidate profile
- CA Articleship candidate eligible for ICAI Industrial Training, with CA Foundation (or CPT) and CA Intermediate cleared in the first attempt.
- Solid academic background in Accounting, Audit or Banking is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
