Key Responsibilities
- Network & Security Design:Design and operate secure enterprise networks across routing, switching, wireless, firewall, VPN, SD-WAN and cloud connectivity.
- Cybersecurity Controls:Implement segmentation, firewall hardening, IDS/IPS, NAC, ZTNA/SASE, secure DNS, MFA integration, vulnerability remediation and audit response.
- Monitoring & SIEM Integration:Ensure syslog, NetFlow, firewall, VPN, wireless and security events are forwarded, monitored, correlated and tuned for operations and SOC visibility.
- Advanced Diagnostics:Resolve complex outages, latency, packet loss, routing loops, firewall policy conflicts, Wi-Fi interference, VPN failures and threat-related connectivity events.
- Governance & Change Control:Own firewall recertification, rule cleanup, device lifecycle, configuration backups, patch/firmware planning, standards and documentation.
- Vendor & ISP Management:Coordinate OEM, ISP, MSSP and MSP escalations, lifecycle planning, RMA, contract inputs and technology roadmap support.

Qualifications & Skills




- 8+ years of enterprise networking, firewall, wireless and network security experience.
- Expert end-to-end knowledge of BGP, OSPF, switching, VLANs, QoS, NAT, VPN, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SD-WAN, high availability and network segmentation.
- Deep hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point, Sophos, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus or equivalent network/security platforms.
- Robust cybersecurity knowledge across zero trust, IDS/IPS, NAC, SIEM logging, vulnerability management, incident response support, secure remote access, encryption and hardening.
- Proficiency with Wireshark, packet capture, NetFlow, SNMP, syslog, Nmap, PRTG, SolarWinds, SIEM platforms and firewall analysis tools.

Relevant Certifications / Preferred Credentials
- CCNP/CCIE Enterprise or Security, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, CWNP credentials, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent.
