Job Summary:

The U.S. National Phase Patent Package Preparation Paralegal plays a crucial role in facilitating the national phase entry of international patent applications into the United States. This position involves meticulous preparation, organization, and management of patent documentation, ensuring compliance with U.S. patent laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities: National Phase entry preparation
- Check for various Triggers for IDS through different Internal Reports and Client Databases.
- Maintaining of Tracker and prioritise requests according to US Prosecution.
- Docketing IDS deadlines entry, review, maintaining of records for different Clients and communicating with the Correspondence side
- Identification of related corresponding Families and understanding the Subject Matter Relationship.
- Extraction of references through various Public Portal such as Espacenet,



USPTO, Patentoscope, Global Dossier.
- Deadline management - internal, client side and PTO side.
- Timely and regular follow up with the agents, staff, and clients, and observes confidentiality of IDS Department and/or firm matters.
- Works as part of a team to identify, collectively distribute, and effectively complete all work received by the Supervisor each day.
- Understands the criticality of the deadlines relating to Intellectual Property governing entities.
- Adaptability to new projects and instructions

Qualifications
- Graduation in any stream

Experience
- Good command over English Language
- Logical Thinker
- 2-5 years of IDS experience

Expected Competencies/Skills/Abilities
- Valuable command over windows operating system
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PDF
- Should know how to search Google, Journals, Research Papers
- Attention to details.
- Critical thinking skill.
