Client Advisory & Reinsurance Pricing
- Serve as a trusted actuarial adviser to clients on treaty pricing, portfolio profitability, and reinsurance structuring.
- Lead pricing reviews for casualty and specialty treaty business, including:
- Excess of Loss (XoL)
- Quota Share treaties
- Structured reinsurance solutions
- Evaluate and price complex treaty features such as reinstatements, profit commissions, sliding-scale commissions, loss corridors, aggregate limits and deductibles, indexation clauses, and ECO/XPL provisions.
- Present pricing methodologies, assumptions, and recommendations to Chief Actuaries, Underwriters, Reinsurance Committees, Boards, Brokers, and Regulators.
- Translate actuarial analyses into actionable commercial insights on pricing adequacy, retention strategies, limit optimization, and rate change requirements.
- Support clients throughout renewal cycles, including submission reviews, data validation, benchmarking, portfolio monitoring, and post-renewal reporting.
- Ensure high standards of engagement delivery, documentation, governance,



and regulatory compliance.

Capability Development & Innovation
- Help shape and expand reinsurance pricing offerings by developing differentiated, scalable, and repeatable service solutions.
- Build and enhance pricing frameworks, including:
- Exposure and experience rating methodologies
- Increased Limit Factors (ILFs) and exposure curves
- Frequency-severity and aggregate loss models
- Trend, on-leveling, and benchmarking approaches
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and technology teams to embed automation, advanced analytics, and AI into pricing workflows.

Commercial Growth & Client Development
- Partner with business development teams to support RFPs, proposals, client pitches, and engagement scoping.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships across pricing, reserving, capital modeling, and portfolio analytics services.
