Job Title: Kernel Engineer (Part Time / Freelance)

About the Role
We are building IndianBrand Mobile OS — India's first 100% from-scratch operating system.
We need a Kernel Engineer who can write bare-metal C code and understand how operating systems work at the lowest level. This is rare, exciting, and genuinely historic work.
Required Skills
C Programming (expert level) — you must be comfortable writing C without any standard library
x86 or ARM Assembly — basic understanding of Assembly language
Operating system fundamentals — memory management, process scheduling, interrupts
Linux development environment — comfortable on Ubuntu or similar
GDB — debugging compiled code
Git — version control
Key Responsibilities
Write and improve kernel code in C — memory manager, interrupt handlers, process scheduler
Write Assembly code for low-level hardware initialisation
Test kernel changes in QEMU virtual machine
Document code clearly for the team
Collaborate asynchronously with other developers via Git and email
Research and implement OS concep
