Powertrain Engineer – III

Location: Chennai | Experience: 4–7 Years

We are looking for an experienced Powertrain Engineer to join our EV engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform EV powertrain testing, validation, and performance analysis.
- Work on electric motors, motor controllers, inverters, and vehicle integration.
- Support torque/speed control, calibration, regenerative braking, and drive modes.
- Conduct vehicle-level, HIL, test bench, and on-road validation.
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Battery, Embedded, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in EV Powertrain, Electric Motor, Motor Controller, EV Controls, Calibration, or Validation.




- Solid knowledge of PMSM/BLDC motors, motor controllers, power electronics, and EV systems.
- Experience with CAN communication, VCU/BMS integration, calibration, and vehicle testing.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, HIL testing, test benches, or dynamometers is preferred.
- B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering disciplines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
