Role & responsibilities :

A. Plant Operations & Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Solar PV Power Plant.
- Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual generation targets.
- Monitor plant performance, availability, PR, CUF and specific energy generation.
- Review SCADA data and identify deviations in plant performance.
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of operational issues.
- Monitor inverter, transformer, HT/LT systems, SCADA, MMS/tracker systems and other critical equipment.
- Maintain operational discipline and ensure smooth functioning of the plant.
- Coordinate with Grid/SLDC/DISCOM authorities for grid-related operational matters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual plant performance reports.

B. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans.
- Ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance activities.
- Monitor breakdowns and ensure minimum equipment downtime.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)



for major equipment failures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on RCA findings.
- Ensure maintenance of:
- Solar modules
- Inverters
- Transformers
- HT/LT panels
- Switchgear
- SCADA systems
- Tracker/MMS systems
- String combiner boxes
- Cables and transmission systems
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Auxiliary systems

Overall Accountability

The O&M; Manager/Plant Manager will be accountable for secure, reliable, efficient and cost-effective operation of the Solar Power Plant, ensuring maximum plant availability, optimum energy generation, timely maintenance, effective manpower and contractor management, compliance with safety and statutory requirements, and achievement of business and plant performance targets.
