Role & responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day nursing activities within the assigned ward/unit.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing practices and clinical protocols.
- Manage nursing staff allocation, duty rosters, attendance and shift coordination.
- Monitor medication administration, nursing procedures and patient documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and hospital SOPs.
- Coordinate effectively with Doctors, Nursing Superintendent and other departments.
- Guide, train and motivate nursing staff to maintain quality patient care.
- Address patient/attendant concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor nursing supplies, equipment and overall ward readiness.
- Maintain nursing records, reports and other required documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant hospital nursing experience.
- Candidates with prior experience as Sister Incharge / Ward Incharge will be preferred.
- Robust leadership, communication, coordination and team-management skills.
