Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor – General Surgery to join our medical college and teaching hospital. The candidate will be responsible for undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, clinical services, surgical procedures, academic activities, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Provide clinical and surgical services to patients.
- Perform surgical procedures as per expertise and institutional protocols.
- Participate in emergency and on-call duties.
- Conduct ward rounds, OPD consultations,



and pre/post-operative care.
- Participate in academic meetings, seminars, case discussions, and CMEs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Participate in research and departmental academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with NMC and institutional guidelines.

Eligibility:
- MBBS from an NMC-recognized institution.
- MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration.
- Teaching/clinical experience as per applicable NMC norms preferred.
