Role & responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (OSHA, Factory Act, local laws) and company safety standards.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment Reports, and Safety Checklists.
- Conduct safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks for employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events; prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor the proper use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate and execute emergency response drills (fire drills, evacuation drills, and mock drills).
- Maintain and update safety records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Promote a proactive safety culture, awareness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety,



or a related Engineering field.
- 3-7 years of experience in industrial safety, HSE, or EHS roles.
- Robust knowledge of occupational health & safety (OHS) standards, statutory compliance, and industrial safety regulations (OSHA, Factory Act, etc.).
- Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Skilled in conducting safety audits, inspections, and accident/incident investigations.
- Proficient in safety training, toolbox talks, and promoting a safety culture.
- Knowledge of PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Awareness of hazardous area safety (ATEX/IECEx) and environmental compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in industrial environments, shifts, and emergency situations.
