Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and improve painting processes for ABS, aluminium, steel and carbon fibre parts.
• Handle liquid painting, powder coating, pretreatment and electro deposition processes.
• Prepare specifications for recent paint shop equipment, fixtures, jigs and related facilities.
• Troubleshoot paint application, electro coating and powder coating issues.
• Carry out paint repair activities on ABS, steel and aluminium parts.
• Support process and facility re-engineering to achieve QCD targets.
• Identify and implement projects for painting process improvement and cost savings.
• Support process optimisation and continuous improvement activities in the paint shop.
• Prepare and maintain process and quality documentation as per TS16949 / IATF 16949 requirements.
