Role & responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily/shift-wise production as per customer requirements.
- Allocate manpower and machines according to the production plan.
- Supervise press machines, progressive tools, compound tools, and related operations.
- Monitor production output, rejection, rework, downtime, and productivity.
- Ensure correct material, tool, die, and process parameters are used.
- Ensure FIFO and proper raw-material/finished-goods identification.
- Monitor tool condition and coordinate with Tool Room/Maintenance for breakdowns and tool issues.
- Reduce machine downtime, rejection, and material wastage.
- Ensure first-piece approval and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch teams.
- Maintain shift production reports, rejection reports, downtime reports, and other required records.
- Ensure 5S, housekeeping, PPE,



and all safety requirements are followed.
- Train and guide operators and improve operator productivity.
- Conduct shift handover with proper information on pending production, quality issues, breakdowns, and tools.
- Take immediate corrective action for production and quality problems.
- Support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, productivity improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle-time reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and IATF/quality-system requirements.

- Daily production achievement %
- OEE / machine utilization
- Rejection and rework %
- Scrap reduction
- lSafety and 5S performance
- Customer complaints / internal quality issues
