Role Overview

MAS Foods, a South Indian FMCG heritage brand (est. 1970) best known for its Badam Drink Mix, is actively building out its go-to-market presence in Chennai & coimbatore across wholesale (Koyambedu, Parrys, Tambaram), retail, and HoReCa/caterer channels. We're looking for a hands-on Trade Marketer to own field execution of trade marketing programs across Chennai's & Coimbatore retail and wholesale universe, working alongside a field team of one wholesale rep and two retail reps.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute in-market trade activation CDU placement, POSM (posters, danglers, wobblers), shelf strips, and sampling drives across identified priority stores.
- Run and track consumer and trade schemes/contests end-to-end, from rollout through redemption tracking.
- Conduct regular market visits across Koyambedu, Parrys, Tambaram, and key retail corridors to monitor stocking, visibility, and competitive activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and caterers; identify and onboard new caterer accounts.
- Feed weekly field data (stocking,



competitor pricing, offtake, issues) into the shared market intelligence tracker for Badam Drink Mix, Rose & Kesar Pista, and Gulab Jamun.
- Flag on-ground issues – stockouts, distributor gaps, expired stock, unresolved returns – promptly to Sales and Trade Marketing leadership.
- Support ad hoc field surveys and discovery initiatives across retail, wholesale, and HoReCa as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus, not required).
- 0–2 years of experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing, or field marketing; solid internship experience in FMCG/retail is a plus for freshers.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai; comfortable with daily field travel across the city and surrounding wholesale markets.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred, given the multi-outlet daily beat structure.
