Product Manager - General Insurance

Role Purpose: Drive business growth and performance of General Insurance products through product analysis, MIS reporting, portfolio monitoring, and data-driven insights. Support product strategy, sales performance tracking, and process improvements across channels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze General Insurance product performance, sales trends, revenue, and profitability.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and trackers using advanced Excel.
- Monitor product KPIs and identify opportunities for business growth and optimization.
- Conduct portfolio analysis, customer segmentation, and market benchmarking.
- Support product launches, campaigns, and business initiatives through data analysis.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, insurers, and sales teams for performance reviews.
- Track business targets, productivity, and channel-wise performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting governance,



and compliance requirements.

Desired Skills:
- Solid proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, Dashboards).
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in MIS reporting, business analytics, and performance management.
- Good understanding of General Insurance products and distribution models.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience:
- 3-8 years in Product Management, Business Analytics, MIS, or Insurance domain.
- Banking, Insurance, Bancassurance, or Financial Services experience preferred.
