Desired Candidate Profile
- Candidate should be graduate full time, with minimum 3years of experience in Mechanical design
- Candidates must be from mfg industry is preferable.
- Candidate around 25-35 yrs.
- Should be thoroughly computer literate and make presentations when required.
- Candidate should have fluency in English
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop current casting components using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform basic FEA/simulation to evaluate stress, deformation, and strength.
- Support casting process development, including draft, fillet, wall thickness, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with production and foundry teams to resolve casting-related issues.
- Support prototype development,
testing, and design improvements.
- Ensure designs meet required quality, cost, and performance requirements.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Basic/working knowledge of FEA and simulation.
- Understanding of casting design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of materials, tolerances, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to develop new products from concept to production.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Casting or mechanical product design
- Knowledge of other simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.)
