Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Wi-Fi Driver Development Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of next-generation WLAN solutions for Wireless Routers, Gateways, Access Points, and Connected Devices. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Wi-Fi driver development, Linux kernel networking, firmware interactions, and end-to-end WLAN protocol stack implementation across Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Wi-Fi driver solutions for WLAN chipsets and embedded networking devices.
- Lead design and implementation of MAC Layer, Data Link Layer, and driver components for Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 platforms.
- Define software architecture for Wi-Fi drivers, firmware interfaces, HAL, and networking subsystems.
- Work closely with chipset vendors to integrate and optimize WLAN solutions.
- Drive feature development for:
- Wi-Fi EasyMesh
- MU-MIMO
- OFDMA
- Band Steering
- Roaming
- QoS
- Mesh Networking
- Perform performance optimization, latency reduction, throughput enhancement, and debugging.
- Lead wireless interoperability, certification, and compliance activities.
- Support board bring-up, BSP integration, and platform validation.
- Mentor engineering teams and conduct architecture and code reviews.
