Experience
- Overall 1014 years of experience in the IT / Telecom industry.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on GIS development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Technical Project Management / Delivery Management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Jira for project management, tracking, and delivery governance.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) in cloud migration and application modernization projects.
- Domain experience in GIS, Telecom (BSS/OSS), and Network Spatial Systems.
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned GIS Technical Specialist with strong experience in GIS development and Technical Project Management. The candidate should have a hands-on GIS development background combined with proven experience in delivery management, technical validation, and end-to-end project execution.
The role requires a technically grounded qualified who can bridge project management and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of GIS and Telecom projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
- Prepare, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery trackers.
- Lead, track, and validate technical work and deliverables to ensure alignment with project plans and quality standards.
- Drive project management, execution, and delivery tracking through Jira, including Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Bugs, backlogs, sprint plans, boards, and release trackers.
- Build and maintain Jira dashboards, queries, and reports for real-time delivery visibility.
- Drive sprint ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
