Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
UFT Automation Tester
with strong hands-on expertise in
OpenText UFT / UFT One (formerly HP QTP)
and VBScript. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts and frameworks.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with
OpenText UFT / UFT One
.
- Excellent knowledge of
VBScript programming
and automation framework development.
- Experience designing and maintaining
test automation frameworks
.
- Hands-on experience automating
Web, Desktop, Mainframe, SAP, and API
applications using UFT.
- Strong understanding of
Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
.
- Experience with
Object Repository, Descriptive Programming, Recovery Scenarios,



and Shared Object Repository
.
- Hands-on experience with
ALM / Quality Center
integration.
- Experience with
Data-driven and Keyword-driven automation frameworks
.
- Solid understanding of
defect management and testing lifecycle
.
- Ability to create, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain automated test scripts.

Preferred Skills
- API testing experience using
Postman or UFT API Testing
.
- Knowledge of
SQL and database validation
.
- Experience with
CI/CD tools
such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of
Git/version control
.
- Exposure to
Selenium, Playwright
, or other automation tools.
- Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
environments.
- Basic scripting knowledge in
Python, Java, or PowerShell
.
