We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement/Purchase Executive to manage the company’s purchasing activities. The role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify reliable vendors and suppliers, request quotations, and evaluate offers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and track inventory levels.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to understand material requirements.
- Verify supplier bills and forward to accounts for timely payment processing.
- Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
- Monitor market trends and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase (preferably construction/infrastructure).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/purchase software.
- Positive communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
