Job Purpose: Convert customer purchase orders into sales orders within the ERP system, issue corresponding work orders to the Production department, and track status through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review customer PO details (quantity, specifications, delivery dates, pricing) for accuracy
- Convert customer PO into a Sales Order in ERP
- Generate and issue Work Orders to the Production department based on the Sales Order
- Monitor work order status/progress and coordinate with Production for updates
- Track order fulfillment timelines and flag delays or discrepancies
- Maintain proper records of PO-to-SO-to-WO mapping for audit/reference
- Liaise with Sales, Production, and Dispatch teams to ensure smooth order flow
