Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the Enterprise digital product team on optum.com, and other Optum sites as needed
- Create UI Design, UI components, and Visual Design elements as required
- Prepare and optimize digital imagery for web experiences, including cropping, resizing, color correction, retouching, background cleanup, and file optimization
- Explore emerging opportunities in the digital healthcare space and contribute ideas as needed
- Interpret insights (analytics, VoC,



market feedback etc.) to inform design decisions and improve experiences
- Continually advocate for the user and ensure there is a shared understanding of the problems we are solving
- Apply and contribute to the UI Design System and reusable components
- Partner with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver high-quality design solutions
- Participate in design critiques and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
- Take ownership of UI design execution across features or workstreams
- Ensure designs are aligned with usability, accessibility (A11y), and technical feasibility considerations
- Maintain a design culture of simple, seamless interfaces and components
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure consistency and quality across experiences
