About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Specialist with proven experience generating software/IT services revenue through Upwork, Freelancer, and LinkedIn.

The candidate will independently manage the complete business-development cyclefrom prospect identification and prospecting to proposal, client communication, negotiation, closure, and account growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate software-business opportunities through Upwork, Freelancer, and LinkedIn.
- Research and qualify prospects, projects, budgets, client credibility, and business requirements.
- Identify and approach founders, CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, and other decision-makers.
- Prepare customized proposals and LinkedIn outreach campaigns.
- Handle client communication, discovery calls, follow-ups, negotiations, and closures.




- Close fixed-price projects, retainers, dedicated teams, and recurring engagements.
- Convert initial projects into repeat business and larger accounts.
- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, and revenue records.
- Coordinate with technical/delivery teams for proposals and opportunity conversion.
- Consistently achieve assigned revenue and pipeline targets.

Experience & Skills
- 4-8 years of Business Development / Sales experience in software, IT services, SaaS, ERP, or technology.
- Proven experience generating revenue through Upwork, Freelancer, and/or LinkedIn.
- Strong experience in bidding, LinkedIn prospecting, proposal writing, lead qualification, and client acquisition.
- Strong understanding of software development services and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.
