Requirements
- 8+ years of software development with 5+ years in Java/Spring Boot microservices, including at least 1 banking, fintech, or financial services platform delivery
- Solid Java proficiency: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud
- Experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, DLQ patterns) and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design, JPA/Hibernate, and query optimisation
- Experience with Redis for caching and idempotency patterns
- Solid understanding of REST API design, OpenAPI 3.0, and API versioning
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployment of microservices
- Proficiency with JUnit 5, Mockito, and integration testing with Testcontainers
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
- Understanding of bank-grade control requirements: audit trails, maker-checker, idempotency, and data integrity
