Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities through Upwork, LinkedIn, email outreach, online research, and other digital channels.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements, submitting relevant proposals, generating qualified leads, scheduling meetings, and supporting the business development process from initial contact to conversion.

Key Responsibilities

* Search and identify relevant projects and potential clients on Upwork.

* Prepare and submit customized proposals based on client requirements.

* Generate B2B leads through LinkedIn, email, online research, and other platforms.

* Identify key decision-makers and initiate professional communication.

* Conduct follow-ups with prospects and maintain regular communication.

* Qualify leads based on requirements, budget, timeline, and business potential.

* Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for the management/technical team.





* Maintain and update lead and chance records in CRM/Excel.

* Track Upwork proposals, responses, meetings, and conversion opportunities.

* Research market trends, competitors, industries, and potential client segments.

* Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals and respond to client requirements.

* Achieve assigned lead generation, outreach, meeting, and business development targets.

Required Skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills.

* Basic understanding of B2B business development and lead generation.

* Familiarity with Upwork, LinkedIn, email outreach, or similar platforms.

* Strong online research and prospecting skills.

* Ability to write professional and customized proposals/messages.

* Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.

* Comfortable working with targets and deadlines.

* Basic knowledge of IT/software services will be an advantage.
