) is an Amsterdam-based health-tech scale-up. We build the platform that helps organizations create healthier, more connected workplaces through habits, gamification and engaging digital experiences. Hundreds of organizations use NewU to support the vitality, employee satisfaction and connection of thousands of people every day.
The product includes a gamification system (streaks, badges, a rewards shop), activities like meditations, breathing exercises and workouts, 30-day health programs, a tracking widget, buddy programs that let colleagues support each other's health goals, and research modules (surveys like MTO and PMO/PAGO) that give organizations insight into employee wellbeing.
We're a team of 14, with a strong remote engineering culture (4 engineers and 2 designers working remotely). Small team, fast decisions, no corporate layers.
We're looking for a
manual QA Engineer
who finds what others miss and writes bug reports developers actually thank you for.
? Location
Remote, CET ±5 hours (Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East, India).
You work Amsterdam (CET) hours.
✅ Must-have
- 3+ years manual testing on web and mobile
- Cross-browser and iOS/Android testing
- Basic Postman and SQL
- GDPR awareness, we handle sensitive wellbeing data
- Explicit, actionable test cases and Jira bug reports
- Expert in QA-tooling and workflows
- Extreme attention to detail
- Near-native English, written and spoken
⭐ Nice to have
ISTQB, HR tech or health product experience, WCAG basics.
⚙️ What you'll do
Test across our mobile app, website, employer portal and native web experiences. Own and expand regression coverage, and help us build out better QA tooling and workflows as we grow. Expect a mix of testing loads of new features and thorough regression and accessibility testing on what already exists. Collaborate daily with our other QA and work directly with 3 engineers, 1 designer and a co-founder.
