About the Role

YChat is looking for a highly driven
Founder's Associate – Growth & Strategy
to work directly with the Founder and help turn strategy into growth and execution.

At YChat, we are building a platform that makes it easier for people to connect, hang out and do things together online.

The Founder is focused on
product development and company strategy
. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of
growth, app promotion, strategic initiatives and execution
.

This is not a traditional assistant role. We are looking for someone who thinks beyond assigned tasks, takes ownership of important problems and wants to help build YChat from the ground up.

What You'll Work On
- Develop and execute strategies to promote and grow the YChat app.
- Identify and experiment with user acquisition and activation channels.
- Build community-led growth, referral and ambassador programs.
- Explore partnerships with colleges, student communities and other relevant organizations.




- Research users, competitors, trends and growth opportunities.
- Turn ideas and discussions into actionable plans.
- Work directly with the Founder on high-priority strategic initiatives.
- Identify and support relevant partnerships and growth opportunities.
- Track initiatives, results and key learnings.

Who We're Looking For
- 3-4 years of experience
, preferably in a startup, growth, strategy, business, community or Founder's Office role.
- Strong ownership mindset—you don't wait to be told every next step.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and ambiguous startup environment.
- Curious, resourceful and excited about building something from the ground up.
- Strong interest in consumer technology, startups and growth.
