Role Overview

The Production Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the production processes in a Sodium iron and lithium battery manufacturing plant.

This role involves leading a team of production, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality.

The Production Manager ensures that all production activities are carried out in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Management.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet the plant s output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules as necessary to address issues, optimize efficiency, and meet changing demands.
- Oversee the production processes, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Leadership and Development.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews,



and provide feedback and development opportunities to staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the production team.
- Quality Control.
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Implement quality control measures and monitor production output for consistency and compliance with specifications.
- Process Optimization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to maintain and enhance production equipment and processes.
- Safety and Compliance.
- Ensure that all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
