Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and creative Content Social Media Manager to take complete ownership of The Red Pens social media presence. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with execution. You will act as the central owner of The Red Pens content ecosystem, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality content across campaigns, events, partnerships, student success stories, and thought leadership initiatives. Working closely with counselling, events, partnerships, leadership, and marketing teams, you will identify stories, source information, create content, and drive a consistent flow of high-quality communication across platforms. Success in this role requires exceptional organisational skills, robust creative instincts, outstanding written English, and the ability to execute independently in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are non-negotiable.

- Own and manage The Red Pens Instagram and LinkedIn presence.
- Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with business priorities, admissions cycles, events, partnerships, and campaigns.
- Build and manage a forward-looking content pipeline that supports business goals, campaigns, events, partnerships, and admissions cycles.
- Identify trends, audience interests, and opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
Content Creation Publishing
- Translate complex admissions, education, and career-related topics into engaging, audience-friendly content.
- Create content across formats, including social media posts, carousels, videos, event promotions, and campaign assets.
- Write captions, scripts, headlines, and promotional copy that align with The Red Pens brand voice.
