Role Description

Fixed Income Municipal Content Specialist:

The Fixed Income (FI) Products and Content team is responsible for the curation and distribution of pertinent and actionable Fixed Income content to Morgan Stanleys Financial Advisors. The team leverages both internal and external credit analysis as well as Morgan Stanley Research and Strategy to assist in portfolio construction, positioning, and overall strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Help curate and distribute top municipal bond ideas from the Fixed Income Desk to the field via email and BlastIM
- Analyze event-driven special situations within municipal credit to provide Financial Advisors with context and guidance
- Work closely with sales and content specialists to identify, refine, and scale high-conviction ideas through team-oriented roundtables.
- Leverage Morgan Stanley Research and Strategy to help aid in positioning and portfolio construction
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence to efficiently scale content creation and distribution




- Adhere to and help ensure accordance with MSWM FI policy and procedures to aid in risk governance
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Fixed Income Sales & Trading
- Fundamental understanding of global Fixed Income markets
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A passion for capital markets and a constant drive to learn more
- Ability to identify investment opportunities and analyze client portfolios.
- Proficient Microsoft excel and AI knowledge with a preference for machine learning experience
- Self-starter who takes ownership, thrives with autonomy, spots new opportunities, and embraces calculated risks to drive growth rather than waiting for direct instructions
