Job Brief
The Embedded Coder (Keil) will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining embedded software using Embedded C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems. The role requires close coordination with hardware and PCB teams to ensure seamless integration, productive performance, and adherence to product specifications and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Embedded C/C++ programs using Keil software for microcontroller-based systems.
- Work on firmware development and optimization for embedded applications.
- Collaborate with hardware teams for PCB design integration and validation.
- Understand and interpret schematic diagrams and circuit designs.
- Assist in PCB design and layout using Protel 99 or other recommended software (as required).
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and system design details.
- Perform PCB mounting and assembly, including soldering of through-hole and SMD components.
- Carry out testing and debugging of embedded systems and PCBs using appropriate tools and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting at both software and hardware levels.
- Repair and replace faulty components or document failure reasons and coordinate with the QA Department.
- Work on analog and digital circuit interfacing with microcontrollers.
- Optimize code for performance, memory utilization, and efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to design, testing, and production.
- Provide technical support to R&D;, production, and testing teams.
