A Genset (Diesel Generator) Sales Executive is responsible for selling generator sets to businesses, industries, contractors, institutions, and other customers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation
- Find new customers through calls, visits, referrals, online leads, and networking.
- Identify companies that require DG/genset solutions.
- Develop relationships with contractors, builders, consultants, factories, hospitals, hotels, and commercial establishments.
2. Customer Requirement Analysis
- Understand the customer's power requirement and application.
- Determine suitable genset capacity (e.g., 15 kVA, 62.5 kVA, 125 kVA, 500 kVA, etc.).
- Discuss fuel consumption, installation requirements, AMF/ATS panels, synchronization, and other requirements.
3. Product Presentation
- Explain genset specifications, features, advantages, warranty, and service support.
- Conduct product demonstrations or arrange customer visits where required.
- Compare suitable models based on customer requirements.
4. Quotation & Sales
- Prepare and submit quotations.
- Negotiate price,



payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.
- Follow up regularly until the order is confirmed.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
5. Site Visits
- Visit customer sites to understand installation conditions.
- Coordinate with technical teams for load assessment and genset selection.
- Check space, ventilation, exhaust, fuel tank, cable routing, and other installation considerations.
6. Order & Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with the company, factory, logistics, and service teams after receiving orders.
- Track production and delivery schedules.
- Ensure the genset reaches the customer as committed.
7. After-Sales Relationship
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and service requirements.
- Follow up for AMC/service contracts and spare parts.
- Maintain good customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
8. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor competitor
