Job Description – Draughtsman

Job Title: Draughtsman / CAD Draughtsman

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to prepare technical drawings, plans, layouts, and detailed designs as per project requirements. The candidate should have positive knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawing standards and should be able to coordinate with engineers, architects, site teams, and other departments.

The ideal candidate should be accurate, organized, technically skilled, and capable of handling drawings from initial concepts to final approved designs.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Drawing & Design Work
- Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings as per project requirements.
- Create detailed plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and working drawings.
- Prepare architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, or fabrication drawings as applicable to the project.
- Convert rough sketches, concepts, and instructions into professional technical drawings.




- Prepare detailed construction and execution drawings.
- Develop layouts and plans according to specifications and measurements.

2. AutoCAD & Software Work
- Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare drawings using CAD software as per company standards.
- Update and revise drawings based on project changes.
- Maintain proper drawing layers, dimensions, scales, annotations, and symbols.
- Ensure all drawings follow technical and drafting standards.
- Work with other relevant design software when required.

3. Site Coordination & Measurements
- Visit project sites when required for measurements and verification.
- Take accurate site measurements and prepare drawings accordingly.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers regarding drawing requirements.
- Compare site conditions with approved drawings.
- Update drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Resolve drawing-related issues with the concerned team.
