Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes, workflows, and plant layouts to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and modify 2D layouts using AutoCAD.
- Conduct Time Study, Motion Study, Process Study, and Line Balancing.
- Establish and monitor standard cycle times across manufacturing processes.
- Design and implement manufacturing layouts, process improvements, and production systems.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Work on Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Pull Production, Standard Work, Workplace Organization (5S) and other Lean tools.
- Assist in the design and evaluation of Material Handling Equipment such as trolleys,
stillages, conveyors, and storage systems.
- Coordinate fabrication activities by reviewing drawings and ensuring manufacturability.
- Prepare MIS reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
