- Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operation of the school's transport system.
- Manage the fleet of school buses, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy, well-maintained, and compliant with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate bus routes, schedules, and driver assignments to ensure timely and effective transportation.
- Supervise and monitor the performance, discipline, and attendance of drivers, conductors, and transport support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all transport-related laws, school policies, and safety regulations issued by local authorities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buses to ensure cleanliness, safety equipment availability, and vehicle fitness.
- Maintain records of vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, permits, pollution certificates, fitness certificates, and other statutory documents.
- Monitor GPS tracking systems and CCTV (where applicable) to ensure route compliance and student safety.
- Handle transport-related complaints and resolve issues raised by parents, staff, and management promptly.




- Coordinate with vendors and workshops for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare transport budgets, monitor fuel consumption, and control transportation expenses.
- Organize regular safety training, emergency response drills, and awareness sessions for transport staff.
- Ensure implementation of child safety measures as per government guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of student transport allocation, routes
- Submit periodic reports on transport operations, maintenance, safety audits, and incidents to the school management.
- Coordinate transportation arrangements for school events, excursions, educational trips, and other activities.
