Microair Avionics, a global leader in light sports and general aviation avionics is looking for an experienced supply chain specialist. Reporting to the Operations Manager in Brisbane, the role will span all commodity groups including electronic parts, PCB/PCA, CNC and sheet metal. The opportunity is to work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to production whilst reducing costs over time. The role starts with a strong transactional base and is expected to grow — sourcing recent vendors directly, and shifting selected assemblies from in-house manufacture to purchased items.

Identifying and qualifying new suppliers to improve price, lead time and capacity

Price Negotiation

Negotiating price with existing suppliers and securing better pricing from alternative sources. Any supply contract or formal agreement must be approved by the Operations Manager or CEO.
