Role & responsibilities

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of cranes and port equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, motor, sensor, and control system faults.

Attend emergency breakdowns and restore equipment within minimum downtime.

Monitor crane performance and identify recurring electrical issues.

Ensure safety compliance during maintenance activities.

Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and daily reports.

Participate in improvement projects and reliability initiatives.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of PLC, motors, transformers, and industrial automation.

Experience in STS, RTG, RMG, EOT, or heavy crane maintenance.

Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.

Valuable understanding of safety standards and permit systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in industrial or port crane maintenance preferred.
