Network Security Engineer Fortinet

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Fortinet technologies to design, implement, and support enterprise firewall and perimeter security solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with FortiGate environments, enterprise networking, routing, switching, and network security architecture.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network security and perimeter security solutions.
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for firewall and network security solutions.
- Design and manage FortiGate firewall policies, NAT, VPN connectivity, DMZ architectures, and network segmentation.
- Configure and support FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
- Design and support Fortinet SD-WAN and High Availability solutions.
- Develop secure network segmentation and micro-segmentation solutions.
- Support firewall upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and lifecycle management initiatives.




- Perform technical assessments and troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
- Participate in architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet enterprise security and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams.
- Identify opportunities for network automation and operational improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls.
- Experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
- Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN and High Availability architectures.
- Experience designing and supporting firewall policies, NAT, VPN, DMZ, and network segmentation.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.
- Experience with Arista networking and Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP).
- Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies.
