Responsibilities
- Fire Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, codes, and standards as per local and national fire safety laws.
- Fire Prevention & Inspection: Conduct regular fire safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure readiness of fire protection systems.
- Emergency Response: Lead fire emergency response activities including evacuation procedures, firefighting operations, and coordination with local fire services.
- Fire Safety Training: Conduct fire safety training, drills, and awareness programs for building occupants, staff, and contractors.
- System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain fire detection and suppression systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, and emergency lighting.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate fire incidents, near-misses, and false alarms; prepare detailed reports and implement corrective actions.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop, review, and update fire emergency response plans,



evacuation routes, and assembly point protocols.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, equipment testing, training sessions, and incident reports for regulatory compliance.
- Permit Management: Issue and monitor hot work permits, ensure safe work practices during maintenance or construction activities.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with building management, tenants, contractors, and fire authorities to ensure a safe and compliant setting.
