Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the hotel s purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement.

Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and service.

Negotiate contracts, prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Coordinate with various hotel departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to understand purchasing needs.





Review purchase requisitions and approve purchase orders according to hotel policies.

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other key data.

Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with the Store Supervisor to avoid shortages or overstock.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints.

Resolve supplier issues and follow up on delayed deliveries.

Prepare reports on procurement activities and supplier performance for management review.

Train and supervise purchasing staff, ensuring high standards of professionalism.
