Role Overview
We are looking for a
Lead – Buyer
to drive strategic procurement of
cementitious materials
within the central Supply Chain Management function. The role will lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, and supply continuity while partnering closely with projects and key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and annual procurement plans, including long-term contracts.
- Manage the complete sourcing cycle: vendor identification, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contracting.
- Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, and price-trend analysis to support sourcing decisions.
- Partner with projects and internal stakeholders to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted supply.




- Negotiate commercial terms and identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop alternate sources to mitigate supply and business risks.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, contractual requirements, tax regulations, and audit standards.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Resolve supply, quality, and commercial issues effectively.
- Guide and mentor junior team members and contribute to SCM initiatives.

Key Skills
- Strong strategic sourcing, procurement, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Expertise in supplier/partner development and relationship management.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, including costing and market analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data using Power BI.
