Oversees the entire sales function — team performance, customer experience, and dealership targets.

1. Team Management & Supervision

Assign daily targets to sales executives and team leaders

Conduct morning briefings on stock, offers, and priority leads

Monitor floor presence — ensure staff are attending walk-ins promptly

Coach and mentor underperforming executives; handle escalations

Review individual performance against monthly targets

2. Sales & Target Achievement

Track daily/weekly sales numbers against dealership targets

Personally handle high-value or corporate/fleet customers

Push financing, insurance, and accessory cross-sells to boost per-vehicle revenue

Follow up on pending bookings and delivery pipelines

Analyze conversion ratios (walk-ins to bookings to deliveries)

3. Customer Relationship Management

Ensure high customer satisfaction (CSI) scores through proper handling of inquiries, test rides, and complaints

Handle escalated customer grievances that executives can't resolve

Build relationships with repeat/loyal customers and referral sources





Oversee post-sale follow-up calls for feedback and referrals

4. Inventory & Showroom Coordination

Coordinate with the stock/logistics team on vehicle availability by model, color, variant

Ensure showroom floor display, cleanliness, and merchandising meet TVS brand standards

Liaise with service department for PDI (pre-delivery inspection) readiness

5. Reporting & Admin

Submit daily sales reports (DSR) to the Dealer Principal /TM

Update CRM/DMS (Dealer Management System) with lead status, follow-ups, bookings

Monitor lead sources (walk-ins, digital, referrals) and their conversion

Track competitor activity and local market pricing/schemes

6. Marketing & Promotions Coordination

Plan and execute local promotional activities, test-ride camps, exhibitions

Coordinate with the marketing team on offers, finance schemes, and festive campaigns

Monitor ROI of local marketing spends
