Role & responsibilities :

1. Procure raw materials, mechanical components, consumables, and production-related items.

2. Identify, evaluate, and develop recent suppliers.

3. Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.

4. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries.

5. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Quality departments regarding material requirements.

6. Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability.

7. Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.

8. Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, quality concerns, and supplier performance.

9. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

9. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and ISO or quality management systems.

10. Prepare monthly purchase reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reports.
