Job Summary

To conduct customer due diligence and KYC reviews for SME Banking and Institutional Banking clients, ensuring compliance with AML regulations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for identifying and mitigating financial crime, regulatory, and reputational risks while supporting productive client onboarding and periodic reviews.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews for new and existing customers in accordance with regulatory and bank policies.
- Assess customer risk profiles by reviewing client information, financial statements, ownership structures, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of KYC documentation, onboarding reviews, remediation activities, and periodic reviews.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate potential AML, sanctions, financial crime, or regulatory concerns.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve KYC-related issues.




- Maintain complete and accurate customer records and documentation to support audit and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure adherence to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and other applicable compliance requirements.
- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and control effectiveness within the KYC function.
