Role Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead business development and drive revenue growth for our water and wastewater treatment solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven sales experience

specifically in Water Treatment Chemicals, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Effluent

Treatment Plants (ETP), and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Identify, generate, and convert recent sales leads for WTP, ETP, and STP projects within the assigned territory.

• Client Consultation: Conduct site visits, assess client requirements, and recommend optimal water treatment technologies and processes.

• Sales Cycle Management: End-to-end management from preparing technical-commercial proposals and conducting presentations to negotiating and closing contracts.

• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, MEP consultants, contractors, and channel partners.

• Market Analysis:



Track industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming government or private infrastructure projects.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipelines, achieve quarterly/annual targets, and submit regular progress reports to management.

Key Requirements:

• Education: B.E. / B. Tech/ B.Sc. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental (or a related field).

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated B2B sales experience in the water treatment sector.

• Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of WTP, ETP, and STP design fundamentals, processes, and equipment. And knowledge of Water treatment chemicals used for cooling tower and boilers this is added advantage (this is specifically chemical engineer or relevant).

• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strong commercial acumen.
