Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, provision, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
- Containerize existing services with Docker and migrate workloads off VM-based CI/CD agents to managed container hosting (Azure Container Instances/App Service, with AKS as a growth path).
- Design and build event-driven backend infrastructure APIs, WebSockets/real-time messaging, and Redis-backed state to support low-latency, real-time processing pipelines.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), including introducing automated test gating.
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring (Azure Monitor/Application Insights or Prometheus/Grafana) for distributed services and pipeline health.
- Design API contracts and adapter/abstraction layers for integrating multiple third-party service providers behind a common interface.
- Support multi-tenant,
configuration-driven onboarding patterns for new customers/business units.
- Own production deployments and post-production support for infrastructure and platform changes.
- Coordinate with business and support teams on testing, cutover, and migration activities.
- Produce transparent technical design documentation, API contracts, and architecture decision records.
Skills expectation:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Blob Storage, Table Storage, Container Registry, Container Instances/App Service).
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and/or Bicep for Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Practical experience containerizing applications with Docker.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, including ORM-based data access (e.g., Prisma) and relational databases.
- Experience with event-driven architectures WebSockets, Redis, and message-queue-based service integration.
