What are we looking for?

The role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities for the organization. It includes reviewing actuals versus budget, analysing departmental costs and trends, preparing MIS and management review presentations, and supporting formulation of budgets and forecasts through scenario modelling.

The position is also responsible for evaluating capex proposals and recent business initiatives, analysing branch performance, tracking approved business cases, and conducting competitor benchmarking to provide strategic financial insights.

The ideal candidate is a CA/MBA with 2 to 8 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting or management accounting, preferably within the life insurance sector, and should demonstrate strong analytical ability, stakeholder management and sound understanding of business operations.

What does the job entail?

New initiatives/ projects, keeping in sight the organizational objectives and formulate recommendation
- Review the past departmental strategies & cost,



analyze the trend to identify aberration and areas for cost optimization
- Measure the performance of the branches and make recommendations for actionable
- Generate review/ tracking mechanism on approved capex/ business cases
- Study performance trends of the competitors in the industry and prepare comparative analysis vis-a-vis our performance
- Assist in financial analysis of strategic tie-ups and related initiatives

Work Experience:
- Should have Budgeting, Forecasting, Management Accounting
- Preference for candidates having life insurance background
- The person is expected to demonstrate networking skills with the stakeholders and an appropriate understanding of business.

Essential Qualification:
- CA/MBA with 2-8 years of experience in business planning, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting
