About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Intern who is obsessed with content, understands how Instagram and LinkedIn work, and can turn ideas into content people actually want to watch.

You will work directly with the Founder's office and be involved in the entire content process, from finding ideas and planning the content calendar to shooting, editing, publishing and analysing performance.

This is not a role where you will simply schedule posts or manage an Instagram page. You will have significant ownership of the content engine.

What You Will Do

1. Video Editing
- Edit Instagram Reels, LinkedIn videos and short form videos
- Turn raw footage into engaging, quick paced and visually interesting videos
- Add captions, hooks, B roll, graphics, transitions, sound effects and music where appropriate
- Understand pacing, retention and storytelling in short form video
- Repurpose long form content into multiple short form pieces
- Continuously improve editing based on what performs well





Strong video editing skills are one of the most important requirements for this role.

1A - Content Analytics
- Track and analyse Instagram and LinkedIn performance on a weekly basis
- Monitor key metrics such as reach, impressions, watch time, average watch duration, retention, engagement rate, shares, saves, comments, profile visits and follower growth
- Understand which hooks, topics, formats and content styles are driving performance
- Compare performance across different content formats and identify patterns
- Analyse why a particular Reel or post performed well or poorly
- Use analytics to recommend what we should create more of, less of or differently
- Maintain a simple content performance dashboard or tracker
- Present actionable insights from content data, rather than simply reporting numbers
- Continuously test different hooks, formats, lengths and storytelling approaches
