Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance professional to lead the Accounts Payable function for a large manufacturing organisation. The role will have end-to-end ownership of AP operations, accounting compliance, process improvement and stakeholder management across multiple manufacturing locations.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor accounting, payments, reconciliations and month-end closure.

Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with Ind AS and IFRS requirements.

Handle General Accounting matters and ensure proper accounting treatment, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Drive process improvements, automation and controls to improve AP efficiency, accuracy and compliance.

Review and strengthen AP processes, policies, internal controls and governance.

Partner with Procurement, Plant Finance,



Business teams and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and vendor-related issues.

Ensure timely closure of AP-related audit observations and statutory/internal audit requirements.

Lead and develop the AP team while ensuring strong service delivery across multiple manufacturing locations.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting within a large / manufacturing organisation.

Good knowledge of Ind AS and IFRS.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and reconciliations.

Proven experience in process improvement / transformation / automation.

Ability to take complete ownership of the AP function and manage multiple stakeholders.

Robust analytical, problem-solving and people-management skills.
